What's right for you? Photo Jounalistic, Romantic, Candid, Portraiture?
I like the challenge of candidly documenting your wedding day (journalistic) like a Wedding Story. But I also like the classic and romantic styles as well. The central idea behind the journalistic approach, is to capture the wedding day without any interference and little direction. The photographer is there to capture the true essence of the wedding day.
As a result of this realistic approach, the photographs are a true representation of the wedding day. But this type of coverage doesn't include formal posed or semi-posed photographs and also family group photos. I look to you to let me know what you want, but I always put my many years of experience to work for you.


I offer a hybrid approach that includes a combination of traditional, photo-journalistic, and romantic styles of wedding photography.
  
When I am working in the "journalistic" mode, I like to take as many candid photos as I can. During the bridal preparations, the ceremony and the reception, I am seeking to capture moments that are meaningful. The laughter tears and joy that is your wedding day celebration.
 
Posed photographs can be taken anytime depending on your schedule but are usually taken after the ceremony. Good photography takes time. You may want to shorten or ship the receiving line. Generally, expect 30 to 45 minutes for the posed photographs, including portraits of the bride and groom. It is very helpful if you make a list of groups you want photographed, and designate someone who knows most of the people involved in order to help organize the groups.

I also take documentary shots of everything including the cake, settings and decorations, action photos of the first dance, cutting of the cake, and all of the other customs and traditions that are pages and chapters of your Wedding Story.

prints and CD's, Internet access, and a wide variety
of album, book, and DVD options.
